Make-up artists are a very versatile figure with multiple skills depending on the sector they will be working in: shops, weddings, events, television productions, theatre, cinema, fashion.
In order to reach this set of skills, MUD has created a series of different and complementary courses that allow you to achieve various levels of certification and therefore of preparation.
Level 1 grants a certificate that allows you to enter the world of work immediately. You can decide to continue with the further levels if and when you wish. Discover the course
Beauty Correttivo
This is the iconic course that is the gateway to the world of MUD - Make Up Designory.
It will give you the most solid and indispensable foundation to enter this world and know how to make complete beauty makeovers.
After this level you will already be an internationally certified make-up artist and ready for the working world.
Duration: 84h of training
Frequency: Full-time formula over 12 days, attendance from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday or Sunday formula over 12 weeks, attendance only on Saturdays or Sundays from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Airbrush, Bridal, Studio, Fashion
This is the first specialisation package comprising four modules to learn new techniques and specialise in all four major fields of professional make-up, such as the use of the airbrush, design and creation of bridal, film and fashion make-up.
Duration: 126h of training
Frequency: Full-time formula over 18 days, with attendance from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday or Sunday formula over 18 weeks, attendance only on Saturdays or Sundays from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Hairstyle and Portfolio
This is the second specialization package consisting of two modules:
The first is Hairstyle that can also be taken after the Level I certificate
The second is Portfolio Development which involves 3 days of an actual photo shoot and can only be taken after completing Level I, Level II and Hairstyle.
Duration: 105h of training
Frequency: Full time formula over 15 days, with attendance from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday formula only available for the Hairstyle 10-week attendance only on Sundays from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Special Effects
The course begins by teaching the real techniques used in this sector and offering an in-depth look at how to simulate various two and three-dimensional effects using coloring foam and prosthetics. You then learn how to create scratches and grazes, scars, cuts and wounds, and burns, before creating an actual character.
Duration: 70h of training
Frequency: Full-time formula over 10 days with attendance from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Enrolment must always be done through one of our consultants.
All you need to do is book a call to the location of your interest (Milan or Rome) or visit us directly. We will provide you with all the contractual details to proceed with your course registration.

In order to attend the second level directly, you will need to be in possession of a certification from another accedemia and a personal portfolio.
Once these documents have been submitted, we will send everything to MUD Europe for validation.
If you pass this stage, you will be able to take a theoretical and practical test; if you pass, you will be able to go directly to Level 2 by buying the discounted Level I kit and attending individual alignment classes.
Direct access to Level III will not be possible.
Registration for our courses includes: tuition fees, training days, make-up kit, MUD international
Each level corresponds to its own kit with all the necessary training material.
The kit will be yours personally and will remain with you outside MUD. As you attend more levels, you will add up the different kits until, during Level III, you will have an increasingly large kit with all kinds of products and tools.

It is not compulsory to attend all levels, it depends on one's ambition and the skills one wants to acquire. MUD offers the possibility of attending levels at any time and not necessarily consecutively.
MUD provides a private job search group. Our certification has worldwide commercial validity and will enable you to work anywhere. Depending on the levels attended and the skills acquired, you will have more professional opportunities. Find out all the info in the dedicated section.
